Envirorally is an organisation dedicated to rally driving with a conscience. They are a community of like-minded car enthusiasts with the desire to preserve the thrill and adventure of rally driving, yet protect the future of our planet. Its rallies are designed exclusively for zero carbon vehicles.
Its Foundation channels funds from Envirorally membership and events back into the research and development of e-motorsport technology, giving back to the environment and advancing electric motorsports. Each overseas event enables them to fund a local organisation working in the sustainable energy sector.
This is Envirorally Foundation’s first year of business carbon footprint reporting and Planet Mark certification. Since certifying to Planet Mark, the company has set a target to reduce emissions by 5% annually.
Envirorally Foundation’s total carbon footprint in the year ending March 2021 was 1.0 tCO2e. Envirorally Foundation’s total carbon per employee in the year prior to March 2021 was 0.5 tCO2e.

Rally adventures are Envirorally Foundation’s passion. But with a growing climate crisis they, like many others, ran out of excuses for racing fuel-burning combustion engines, so the rallies are exclusively designed for zero carbon vehicles. So Envirorally was founded, an organisation dedicated to rally driving with a conscience. The Envirorally community contains like-minded car enthusiasts with the desire to preserve the thrill and adventure of rally driving, yet protect the future of our planet.
Motorsport has an opportunity to lead sustainable change in the wider automotive industry. As leaders of innovation, and with a global cultural spotlight upon motorsports, embracing low carbon solutions can help spread climate action among a wide network of fans. The automotive industry is a known polluter with clear signals for change that is essential to global climate goals – showcasing sustainable solutions is a vital indicator of change that can create widespread action.
As part of the Planet Mark certification, Envirorally has committed to making a year-on-year reduction.
