ONE Creative environments, an integrated building design business with a dynamic multi-disciplinary team has achieved the Planet Mark certification.
Understanding and measuring its carbon footprint is the first step in identifying ways to minimise its impact on the planet. Over the next year, the company will continue to work towards reducing its carbon emissions and sharing its journey with its community to inspire others. By being more strategic about its environmental responsibility, ONE Creative environments will be able to significantly increase its positive impact and hope to encourage continual improvements within its community.
Through Planet Mark, the company has protected an area of endangered rainforest thanks to Cool Earth; a charity working alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation. Its pledge through Cool Earth goes directly towards supporting the Asháninka community in Central Peru.
It is also helping the Eden Project – an educational charity building connections with each other and the living world, exploring how we can work together towards a better future.

ONE Creative environments (ONE) takes a responsible interest in the environmental impact of its business activities, and aims to contribute to environmental improvement and sustainable development. The practice aims to have a positive impact on the environment with the way that we run its business and with the environments that it designs. ONCE Creative regularly uses UKAS and CIBSE’s Low Carbon Energy Assessor accreditation, and their projects are also measured against the UK BREEAM standards that assure and award sustainable building practice.
As part of the Planet Mark certification, ONE Creative environments has committed to making a year-on-year reduction.
