Served Drinks, the UK’s go-to premium hard seltzer brand has achieved the Planet Mark certification. The company refuses to compromise the health of the natural world. As a result, it uses ‘wonky fruit’ as an intervention on food waste and innovative ecological packaging that will support habitats, people and animals on the frontline of the climate crisis.
In this crucial Decade of Action, Served Drinks want to ensure that it is a force for good: positively transforming society and the planet by measuring our own impact.
This is Served Drinks’ second year of business carbon footprint reporting and Planet Mark certification. Served Drinks’ total carbon footprint in the year ending March 2022 was 1.6 tCO2e. Since certifying to Planet Mark, the company has set a target to reduce emissions by 5% annually.
Over the next year, the company will be working towards reducing its carbon emissions and sharing its journey with the community to encourage others to join the movement.
“Congratulations to Served Drinks on second year of certification to Planet Mark. The company is built on strong principles, and follows them through with decisive action. No action is more decisive than the one that commits to continuous improvement in a business’ carbon footprint. I applaud the aspiration of Served Drinks to do business in the right way, and look forward to working with them in the future.”
Through Planet Mark, Served Drinks is protecting an area of endangered rainforest thanks to Cool Earth; a charity working alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation. Its pledge through Cool Earth directly supports the Asháninka community in Central Peru.
The company is also helping the Eden Project – an educational charity building connections with each other and the living world, exploring how we can work together towards a better future.

FMCG companies are under the spotlight regarding climate action. The industry is one of the highest-profile emitters of carbon, and consumers are ready to embrace sustainable brands. Companies working in FMCG can embrace the growing demand for sustainable products but must do so with rigour. This requires engaging the entire supply chain, from ingredient sourcing to manufacturing processes and waste distribution.
