UK’s leading shower manufacturer, Triton has achieved the Planet Mark certification.
Triton Showers recognises the importance of minimising its environmental impact and embracing sustainable practices. They prioritise three key areas: reducing energy consumption, conserving water, and minimising waste.
Triton designs and manufactures products that are energy-efficient, aiming to help customers save energy and reduce their carbon footprint. They have also implemented sustainable practices in their production processes, such as using energy-efficient machinery and optimising their operations to minimise waste and energy consumption.
Building on its sustainability credentials, Triton Showers is working with Planet Mark to quantify their impact, further reduce their carbon emissions and share its journey with its community to inspire others. By being more strategic about its environmental responsibility, they will be able to increase its positive impact significantly and hopes to encourage continual improvements within its community.
Through Planet Mark, the company has protected endangered rainforests thanks to Cool Earth; a charity working alongside rainforest communities to halt deforestation. Its pledge through Cool Earth directly supports the Asháninka community in Central Peru.
Triton Showers has also helped the Eden Project – an educational charity building connections with each other and the living world, exploring how we can work together towards a better future.
To recertify next year Triton Showers must reduce emissions by 2.5%.
A 5% year-on-year reduction is the target reduction recommended by Planet Mark.
